How to choose a corner profile
Identify the corner first — interior wall-to-ceiling, interior wall-to-wall, or an external nosing — then match the angle and strip width.

What is an LED corner profile?
An LED corner profile is an extruded aluminum section shaped to carry an LED strip around a corner or along an edge — the inside angle between a wall and a ceiling, the vertical edge where two walls meet, or the nosing of a shelf or step. Because the section is extruded to the angle, the light turns with the building rather than stopping short of the corner.
The alternative to a dedicated corner section is to mitre two straight channels, which almost always leaves a visible dark joint and a shadow at the change of direction. A formed corner section carries the diffuser through the turn, so the line of light stays continuous.
What to check: the angle the section is formed to (interior or exterior, and the degree), the strip width it accepts, and whether the section is being used up or down — some corner sections emit on one face only, others on two.

Interior and exterior corners — what is the difference?
An interior corner section is formed to sit in an inside angle, such as where a wall meets a ceiling, and emits into the room. An exterior corner section wraps an outside edge, such as the vertical corner of a wall or the nosing of a step, so it is visible from both sides. They are not interchangeable.
Can I just mitre two straight profiles instead?
You can, but the joint usually shows. Mitred aluminum sections leave a dark seam at the change of direction and the diffuser has to be cut, which often produces a shadow right at the corner. A formed corner section carries the diffuser through the turn and keeps the line of light continuous.
What angles are available?
Sections in this range cover the common details from 30° through to 150°, plus the standard 90° wall-to-wall and wall-to-ceiling cases. For anything outside the standard set, send the drawing — custom extrusion is possible.
Where are corner profiles most often used?
Where a wall meets a ceiling, along the vertical corner of a room, around the nosing of stairs and shelves, and inside cabinet returns. They are also used wherever a change of direction has to be lit without a visible joint at the turn.
Are the corner sections supplied with the diffuser formed to match?
Yes. The diffuser and end caps are supplied as accessories with the section and are listed on each product page, so the turn is covered in one piece.
