Flexível LED Wall Washer Solutions for Curved Facades, Soffits & Outdoor Walls

Rigid wall washers cannot follow a radius and cannot fit a shallow reveal. Our silicone and TPU wall washers bend to a 60 mm diameter, seal to IP65 or IP67, and are specified by wash height — not by wattage.

Where Standard Wall Washers Fail

Four things go wrong on site — none of them are about wattage

Every wall-washing problem we are asked to fix comes down to one of these four.

PROBLEM 01

The wall is curved, the fixture is straight

A rigid extrusion is a straight line. On a radius you butt short lengths together and every joint reads as a dark break — exactly where the curve is most visible.

PROBLEM 02

The wash stops short of the top

Reach is set by beam angle, not power. Too wide and the wall is bright at the bottom and grey at the head; too narrow and you get a hot stripe.

PROBLEM 03

There is no room in the reveal

Deep bodies need a deep pocket. On a slim soffit, a window head or a joinery detail, a 20 mm-plus profile simply will not go in.

PROBLEM 04

Yellowing and water set the service life

UV turns cheap PVC opaque, and a body that is only shower-resistant fails in a drainage channel or under a pressure washer.

How to Choose

Four decisions, in this order

Work down the list. Most specification mistakes happen because the wall is chosen last.

Start with the wall

Wall height and the distance you can hold the body off the wall set the beam angle — and therefore the wash height.

Then the curve

Measure the tightest radius on the drawing. Minimum bending diameter is 60, 100, 150 or 400 mm.

Then the weather

IP65 for covered and shower-exposed positions; IP67 where the run sits in a channel or on a coastal elevation.

Then the function

Single colour, tunable white, RGB, RGBW or DMX512 — decided by what the operator changes after handover.

Wash Height, Published

How high will it actually wash?

Almost no one publishes this. On the HL-WL2620Pro, here is the wall-washing height for each beam angle at four mounting distances.

Beam angleBody 300 mm from wall200 mm100 mm50 mm
15°800 mm1,000 mm1,400 mm1,700 mm
30°600 mm900 mm1,100 mm1,300 mm
50°550 mm750 mm900 mm1,100 mm
18×20°1,000 mm1,300 mm1,500 mm1,800 mm

Measured with the body held at the stated distance from the wall. The narrower the beam, the higher the wash — and the closer the body, the higher it climbs. Every other family ships with its own chart, which we send with the quotation.

Fixing & Cutting

Four ways to fix it, and it cuts on site

OPTION 01

3M VHB tape

Red VHB backing for a smooth, prepared wall. Fastest route where the surface is flat and clean.

OPTION 02

Silicone clips

Clips that match the body colour, so the fixing disappears against the wall.

OPTION 03

Stainless steel clips

For coastal and high-wind elevations, or anywhere tape alone is not accepted.

OPTION 04

Aluminium profile + bracket

The angle can be set after installation, then locked — the most forgiving option on an uneven substrate.

What You Get From Us

The other half of the solution is the service behind it

Layout & spacing

Send the wall height, length and finish. We return a fixture layout with the beam angle, the offset from the wall and the spacing between runs.

Samples before you commit

Pre-production samples for approval before mass production, so the wash and the finish are signed off on the real wall.

3-year warranty

Every wall washer family carries a 3-year warranty, across silicone and TPU bodies alike.

OEM & ODM

Custom length, colour temperature, CCT variants and control protocol — including end caps, connectors and clips to finish the run.

PERGUNTAS FREQUENTES

Flexible LED Wall Washers — Common Questions

How far from the wall should the fixture sit, and how high will it wash?

Both are set by the beam angle. On the HL-WL2620Pro a 30° beam reaches about 600 mm up the wall with the body 300 mm away, and about 1,300 mm when you move it in to 50 mm; the 15° beam reaches 1,700 mm at 50 mm. Each family ships with its own wash-height chart.

Can it follow a curved wall? What is the minimum bending diameter?

Yes — every family is a bendable silicone or TPU extrusion rather than a rigid fixture. Minimum bending diameter is 60 mm on the HL-WL1616, 100 mm on the HL-WL2Q48 and HL-WL13Q36, 150 mm on the HL-WL13Q42 and 400 mm on the HL-WL2620Pro.

Do I need IP65 or IP67?

IP65 (HL-WL1616, HL-WL2620Pro) is dust-tight and resists water jets. IP67 (HL-WL2Q48, HL-WL13Q36, HL-WL13Q42) adds tolerance to temporary immersion — specify it where a run sits in a drainage channel or gets hosed down. All five are DC24V and built for permanent outdoor installation.

Silicone or TPU — which one should I specify?

HL-WL1616 and HL-WL2620Pro use optical-grade silicone, which stays soft at low temperature and resists UV, salt, acid and alkali. HL-WL2Q48, HL-WL13Q36 and HL-WL13Q42 use TPU, chosen for yellowing resistance in a slimmer 18.5 × 9.5 mm section; the 2Q48 and 13Q42 bodies are PU-potted. Both are outdoor materials — the real choice is section size and bend radius.

How long a run can I feed from one end?

A single feed drives 5 m. On the HL-WL1616 you can reach 10 m in total by feeding the run from the middle — 5 m to each side. For longer elevations, plan a feed point roughly every 5 m.

Can I dim it, or run RGB, RGBW and DMX512?

The HL-WL2620Pro is PWM controlled and is available in single colour, tunable white (2700K + 6500K), RGB, RGBW and DMX512. The HL-WL13Q36 is DMX512-addressable at 6 pixels per metre with 256 grey levels — RGB at 8.5 W / 230 lm/m, or RGBW at 11.5 W / 770 lm/m. The HL-WL13Q42 comes as RGB (6.2 W / 264 lm/m) or RGBW (8 W / 540 lm/m).

How is it mounted, and can it be cut on site?

Four fixings are standard: 3M VHB tape, silicone clips, stainless steel clips, or an aluminium profile with rotatable brackets that let you set the angle after installation. Every body is cuttable on site — every 20.83 mm on the HL-WL1616, 125 mm on the HL-WL2Q48, 166.6 mm on the HL-WL13Q36 and HL-WL13Q42, and 250 mm on the HL-WL2620Pro.

What warranty, sample and MOQ terms do you offer?

Every wall washer family carries a 3-year warranty. Pre-production samples and volume pricing are available on request, and MOQ is set per SKU — tell us the project schedule and quantities and we will confirm both in writing.
