For Linden Gate in Yokohama, the design team wanted the display niche lit by one unbroken line at ceiling level. Standard channels left the strip proud of the diffuser or forced joints that broke the line. The HL-BAPL019 microprism surface mounted LED profile was chosen for its surface-mount 42.3×34.7mm section, which carries 32 mm strip behind a clear diffuser. Detailing held through handover, and the fitting count dropped because longer runs replaced short ones. The section was stocked in up to 4 m and cut to the lighting layout, so waste on site stayed low.
