These bodies exist because the available depth is the binding constraint. Outer height starts at 8.2 mm; everything else follows from that.
Narrow strip, by necessity
A body this shallow takes 5–9 mm strip. That is the trade you make for the height.

5–9 mm strip only. A wider strip cannot go into a body this shallow.
Shallow sections are less rigid, so long unsupported runs need the fixing spacing from the drawing.

What buyers ask before specifying this group
The questions that come up most often before a run is signed off.
What counts as ultra-slim here?
Outer height from 8.2 mm. This group is small on purpose: it is the section you reach for when a standard body will not go in.
Can it be recessed?
One of the two bodies is recessed and one is suspended. The recessed body still needs the cut-out depth shown on its drawing.
Will it take a normal strip?
No — 5–9 mm strip. If your strip is wider, the answer is a standard section and more depth, not a different ultra-slim body.
Why are there only two?
Because very few details genuinely need a body this shallow. If neither fits your reveal, send the section and we will say what the options are.
Is it the same as the mini range?
Different constraint. Mini is about outer width; ultra-slim is about outer height. Some details are limited by one and not the other.
Is a shallow body weaker in a long run?
There is less section to work with, so the fixing spacing matters more than on a deep body. Use the spacing on the drawing rather than assuming the standard one.
Why are there only two bodies here?
